Died at Los Angeles,
The sad news was received by Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Gibson last week of the death of Mrs. Harold Gilbson{sic} at her home In Los Angeles, Cal. This news was not unexpected as Mrs. Gibson was ailing for a number of months, but even so, it is none the less grievous not only to the family but to many old friends who knew Mrs. Gibson when she was a resident of Decorah. Her maiden name was Rosella Cary, she was born Jan. 28, 1855, at Freeport, Ill., was married at Webster City May 8, 1878 and died Oct. 3d. She is survived by her husband, a son and a daughter. Mrs. Gibson was an earnest Christian woman, warm hearted, kind and considerate as a friend, and in her home commanded the devotion that is ever due the loving wife and mother.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Los Angeles.
