Our community was greatly pained last week to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Frank Malcom at her home in McCook Co., S. D. She was brought here for burial in the family lot, where a little more than two years ago the eldest son, Charlie, was laid to rest.
The funeral was attended on Sunday by a large concourse of people. Of the family friends present there were Will Rogers a brother, and wife from Lanesboro, also a sister Mrs. Hattie (Musser)
Linblood of Barron, Wis. Mr. Malcom will remain a few days.

Transcriber’s Note: Burr Oak Cemetery shows this was Jennie Malcomb who was born November 1857 and died August 6, 1902.
