It is with great sorrow that we chronicle the death of our good friend and neighbor, James Duffy, who passed away at 1:07 P. M., Wednesday. Death was caused by blood poisoning, which came from a scratch received on the little finger of the left hand while repairing a screen door.

Transcriber’s Note: Iowa Gravestone Photos show that he is buried in Oak Hill Ft. Atkinson Cemetery and was born in 1862.
