Hans Opsal, a brother of Ole and Annon Opsal of this place, died of Bright’s disease at his home in Moody Co., S. D. March 27, 1902. He was born at Burr Oak Springs, in the southwest corner of Madison township, and lived around here until in 1878, when he moved to Dakota. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss. His brother Annon left Friday morning to attend the funeral.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in the Oslo Cemetery in Trent, SD and was born July 24, 1856.
