OBITUARY.
Mrs, Ingeborg Otteson died at the old homestead in Big Canoe on the 28th day of March, 1902, after a sickness of about ten weeks. Her husband, Erick Otteson, died twenty-three years ago at the same place and left a family of six children of whom two are dead. The remaining three sons and one daughter were all present at their mother’s death bed, also her brother Knut Thompson of Decorah. Mrs. Otteson was born at Kjerland in Hardanger, Norway, on the 28th day of October, 1836, and came to this country in the spring 1866. The: funeral was held April 1 in the Big Canoe church, Rev. Seehuus officiating.
