Those who came from a distance to attend the funeral of A. A. Snyder were Vol Strayer of Fayette, Eber Strayer of Cresco, John Strayer of Mason City, Mrs. Andrew Helgeson of Plainview, Minn., and John McIntosh.
Friday, Dec. 4, A. A. Snyder's funeral was held in the church, and Saturday, Dec. 5th, Floyd Miller's, Rev Hunt officiating at the two last.

Transcriber’s Note: Freeport Cemetery shows he is buried there and was born Sept. 3, 1835.
