Mrs. John McIntyre died on Thursday night of asthma, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John E. Cassel, on what is known as the Shae farm. Funeral services at the Advent church Sunday morning, Rev Dick preaching, and burial in the Russell burying ground in Canoe township.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Russell Cemetery shows this was Elizabeth and that she was born April 27, 1838 and died September 10, 1903.
