—The remains of Mrs. Diddam, mother of the late Mrs. John Saunders of Calmer, were brought to Decorah on Thursday last for interment. Mrs. Diddam had been visiting in Leroy where she died on the 21st inst.

The Calmar friends of Mrs. Diddam were greatly grieved to her of her death in Leroy last week. The interment was made in Decorah Thursday.

Transcriber’s Note: Phelps Cemetery shows this was J. Diddams who was born June, 1824 and died April, 1903. Also it is noted that she is near the John Sanders family stone.
