A Pioneer Mother Dead,
Mrs. Gunhild Bakke, wife of Erick O. Bakke of Frankville township, died on Tuesday of last week after an illness of about five months. She was born Dec. 24, 1817, in Norway, and came to America in 185l with her husband. After a short residence at Koshkonong, Wis., she came to Frankville township where they have since resided. Of a family of four children but one survives — Mrs. T. O. Storla. Their only son, Ole, died lost June, and two other daughters, Mrs. Anna Ness and Mrs. Isabelle Traaserud died several years ago. The funeral was held Friday.
