We record the burial of Wm. Marsh in our cemetery on Friday, the 27th. Mr. Marsh lived in this community more or less for forty years. He was born in Jefferson Co., New York, April 22, 1819, and died at Ossian, Feb. 26, 1903, aged nearly 84 years, He came to Wisconsin in 1853, where he was married to Mary E. Nettleton at Watertown, Feb. 27, 1855. Six children were born to them, two of whom survive. In the war of the Rebellion he joined the 29th Wis. Vol. Inf., detailed to the 16th Ohio Battery, Light Artillery.
