John Wernet, son of Henry and Flora Wernet, died Friday morning with the flu. His remains will be laid to rest this afternoon at 2:30. He leaves a wife, one son, one brother, his parents, and some sisters to mourn his departure. His sister Ella, who lived in another state, died with the same disease; the body was brought here and will buried this afternoon beside her brother in the Bluffton cemetery. Rev. Supplee of Burr Oak will officiate at the grave. May they rest in peace!
