The highlights of Kalen’s life included his wedding, the birth of his children, watching his son show a Grand Champion Steer and daughter win the Mutton Busting competition at the Iowa State Fair and watching the Cubs finally win the World Series. He loved Christmas and the holidays with his family, the Barrel Drive Inn, TJs Pizza, country music, 80s music, and all things sports.
