Mrs. C. Meyer died at Sioux City Mon-day morning. She was formerly a resident of Ossian, having moved to Sioux City but two years ago. Mrs. Meyer has had trouble during her life to contend with, having lost her husband at an early age. She leaves to mourn her loss ten children:—Charley, George, Mrs. Streigel, Mrs. Malsi and Julia of Sioux City, Mrs. Hauprich and Mrs. Funke of Chicago, Ed. of Minneapolis and two sisters at the convent at Lacrosse. Her remains will be taken to Festina, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.

A large number from here attended the funeral of Mrs. Catherine Meyer which took place in Festina last week Monday.

Transcriber’s Note: Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery shows she is buried there and that she was born March 31, 1831 and died October 31, 1904.
