The former friends of Sadie Mahaffrey-Holmes will be pained to learn of her death which occurred on the 5th of this month at her home in Kansas. It was reported last week that she had consumption. This was a mistake. She died of a cancer in her stomach. She was only sick four weeks. Her sister Maggie from Los Angeles, Cal. was with her at the last.
