The extreme sickness of the past winter has abated. The people are relieved, and the doctor as well. Our cemetery has added to its number 14 new graves between the dates of October 31st and April 22d, besides Mrs. Donlan who was our neighbor and buried in Bluffton. Three of the 14 were brought here for burial, having been former residents, and 11 were our town’s people. In October Mrs. Freie. November, Richard Goforth, Mrs. John Heckle, and son of James Jervis, Hanson Bridge. December, Mrs. Celia Pierce and Geo. May. January, James Sharp and Mrs. John P. Donlan. February, Mrs. Geo. Reid. March, James Kinnison and Frank Weldon. April, Ruth Gates, Oscar Lawrence and Joseph Malcomb.
