Frank S. Weldon was born April 7th, 1857, in Cacramento,{sic} Cal. When two years of age, with his parents he moved to Illinois, from which place in 1865 he came to Iowa where he has since rsided. In 1890 he was converted and taken into the Methodist Episcopal church, of which he has been a member ever since. His death occurred March 16, 1905. Since the Weldons left the farm eight years ago and came to town, Frank has, a number of times, been severely sick, so that his constitution was weakened, and he couldn’t withstand disease. He died of rheumatic fever. Frank, being always at home, will be greatly missed by the family.
