Died in San Francisco.
A personal note from Henry Callender, a resident of Frankville township from pioneer times until into the ‘70’s, brought the following death notice:
CALLENDER—In this city (San Francisco) February 26, 1905, Elizabeth Smith Callender, beloved wife of Henry Callender, and mother of Ernest and Monroe Callendar, and sister of Mrs. Mary Morgan and Mrs. D. T. Curtis of Oakland, a native of Indiana, aged 60 years, 10 months and 26 days.
Deceased was the eldest daughter of Mrs. Susannah Holloway-Bailey for several years postmistress at Frankville.Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma, California and that she was born in 1844.
