Called to North Dakota.
Early last Saturday morning Mrs. J. H. Bradish was called to start for Cando, N. D., at once, under the saddest of sad circumstances. She was wired that her aged mother had been smitten and had succumbed to a sudden and dangerous illness. So much of the time of Mrs. Conyers, during the last dozen years, has been spent in Decorah that she had come into intimate acquaintance with numerous ones of the elderly people of Decorah, and they justly admired her many amiable qualities. The active years of her life were spent in Paris, Mo., but the removal of a son and daughter to Cando, N. D., and the marriage which brought Mrs. Bradish to Decorah, had caused her to divide time between these two places. At the time we write full intelligence as to the incidents attending her sudden death have not been received. It is an incident not worthy of notice that sixteen years before, on the same date, Mr. Conyers passed away under like circumstances, and with equal suddenness.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave shows this was Ann Eliza who was born January 20, 1833 and died October 27, 1905.
