Word was received here Sunday announcing the death of Mrs. H. Tower, formerly a resident of this place. Her death occurred at Frederick, S. D., Saturday evening, where she and the Ace Webster family of Waucoma were spending the summer. The funeral services were held at Waucoma to-day, after which the remains will be taken to Palmyra, Wis., for interment. The deceased was 74 years of age, and up to the death of her husband a few years ago was a highly respected resident of this place {Ft. Atkinson}, since then making her home at Waucoma with her daughter, Mrs. Ace Webster. Those from here who attended the services at Waucoma were:--Messrs. Wm. Summers and Geo. Bieber and wives.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave indicates this was Polly. She is buried in Hillside Cemetery, Palmyra, WI; she was born April 19, 1831 and died September 30, 1905.
