Our community was shocked Saturday to hear of the death of Tillie Elliott, which occurred at the Rochester hospital Friday night. Tillie left her home north of town in Minnesota Wednesday for Rochester to undergo an operation for cancer on her arm. We have not heard the particulars, only that she died immediately after the operation. Tillie was a young lady who was loved by all who knew her. She was{sic} been a patient sufferer for the past few years. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their affliction.
