Carol Barbara Rugland Meade, age 88 of Decorah, IA passed away at home Sunday, February 24, 2019, with her daughters by her side.

A Celebration of Life service will be held later this spring.

Carol is survived by son Erik of Richfield, MN, daughters Marguerite and Birgitta of Decorah, granddaughter Alexis (Yasir) Burney with great granddaughter Ruya of Chicago, IL and grandson Roger (Victoria) of Brandywine, MD.

Memorials are preferred to W.M.C. Hospice, 901 Montgomery Street, Decorah, IA 52101 or Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
