OBITUARY.
Mina Iona Beman died at the home of her parents in Hamlin township, Friday afternoon, with that dread disease, consumption.
Mina Iona Beman was born in Decorah, Iowa, September 4, 1885, and lived there and at Cresco, Iowa, until the fall of 1903, when she went to Eaton Rapids, Mich., to attend school. While she was there her parents moved to this community and she joined them about a year ago, since which time she has been confined to her home more or less with that dread disease which finally called her to her last resting place.
She leaves a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Beman, and one brother and sisters to mourn her loss.
The people of this community will rejoice with her in her infinite gain, while they extend sympathy to the loved ones who remain to mourn her.
The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. W. Christianson, and the remains were laid at rest in the Castlewood cemetery.— Hamlin County (S. D.) Republican, Dec. 15.
