Died - At her residence, in Decorah, on Sunday morning Aug. 4th, 1861 of disease of the heart Laura A. Bulis, wife of H. C. Bulis M. D. aged 26 years, ? months and 28 days.
Death was sudden, but not terrible to the deceased. Within twenty-four hours she passed from health, with bright anticipation of future enjoyment with friends at the last to the grave, A few, brief moments - a convulsion of the system - was all she experienced in solving death's mystery. With the deceased we were little acquainted, we knew her as a professed Christian, and rejoice to believe that, sudden as the summons came, it found her not unprepared to die.
