DIED - Farnsworth - On the 18th, in Canoe township, at the residence of S. M. Leach, Esq., on Franklin Prairie, of Congestion of the Lungs, Calvin Farnsworth, aged 67 years.

Death - IT will be seen from our notice in another column, that Calvin Farnsworth, Esq, is no more. He was a man possessing much original talent and many excellences of character, and was surrounded by a large and respectable connection who now mourn his loss. He was a native of Hawley, Mass., and resided for a long period in Madison County, N. Y.. out came to this country some 8 years since and at the time of his death was a member of the Winneshiek County Bar. One fault however, dimmed a life which otherwise would have been a life of usefulness and carried sorrow to the hearts of troops of friends.
