KOLBENSVIK.
Anna Elizabeth Kolbensvik, nee Askelson, was born Oct. 8, 1874; she was baptized in the Orleans congregation and after proper instruction in the truths of Christianity was confirmed June 29, 1890. For about ten years she made her home with Mrs. Miller, first on the farm in Orleans Twp., and later in Cresco. On the 8th of August, of this year, she moved to Aberdeen, S. D., where she was married to Albert Kolbensvik, Aug. 13th. Shortly afterwards she was prostrated by a wasting disease from which she never rallied. She breathed her last in a hospital at Aberdeen on Oct. 20th, to which she had been removed a week previous. Mrs. Miller, whose constant companion she had been for so many years, was with her during the last three or four days of her life. The remains were brought to Cresco and removed to the home of her parents in Bluffton Twp. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. O. Otterson, both at the house and at the church in Orleans Twp., and she now rests in the cemetery by the church where she was baptized and confirmed.
