SUICIDE IN HESPER TWP.
Rcported by our Hesper Correspondent.
Hesper, June 4th.
Yesterday afternoon about 4 o’clock, the lifeless body of Willie Bryant was found near the northwest corner of Henry Chase’s farm. Mr. Bryant had been working for M. D. Whitney and on Sunday afternoon about three o’clock he left the house, as they supposed to go to his brother's, John Bryant’s on the C. O. Maltby farm. His non-appearance on Monday caused no special alarm, but on Tuesday the telephone was put in requisition and as no trace could be found a search party was organized with the above result. Near the body was found a revolver and the Coroner was summoned. Have not heard the verdict of the inquest. Mr. Bryant’s mother, brothers and sisters can feel assured of the sincere sympathy of all in their sad bereavement.
[A line from our Burr Oak correspondent says the finding of the Coroner was that Bryant killed himself with the revolver.—EDS,REP. ]Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1876 and is buried in Hesper Public Cemetery
