Died at Cresco.
Mrs. G. C Hull, whose maiden name was Melinda I. Marlow, died at Cresco on Saturday last and her remains were buried at the Russell cemetery, Canoe township, this county, on Tuesday. Mrs. Hull was born in Wyandotte Co., Ohio, April 14, 1855 and was married in 1876 to G. C. Hull. Mr. Hull died less than three months ago from typhoid fever and was buried at St. Cloud, Minn. With the death of Mrs. Hull three children, Arthur, Florence, and Cecil, are left as orphans, but not alone because they have a large circle of relatives who join them in mourning for their parents. Mrs. Hull's death was due to creeping paralysis, from which she has been suffering during the past three years. She was an active Christian woman and a worker in temperance and philanthropic lines. The remains were brought to Decorah Monday and the funeral was held at nine o’clock Tuesday morning from the home of her sister, Mrs. Anton Arneson, Rev. M. Willett officiating.
