An old settler of Winneshiek county passed away Wednesday, Aug. l5th, in Bluffton township, in the person of Ole Iverson Halseth, at the age of 67 years. The deceased came to Decorah in 1861 and for the past 36 years has resided on the farm where he died. He was prominent in the building of the Lutheran Norwegian church near which he lived, and from which his funeral will be held, Rev. Otterson, his pastor, holding the services.
