Ronald Fullhart, age 75, of Decorah, Iowa died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his home in Decorah, IA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Decorah Lutheran Church, 309 Winnebago Street, Decorah, IA with Rev. Dave Sorenson presiding.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Decorah Lutheran Church on Saturday morning.

Ronald Nils Fullhart was born on November 13, 1942 the son of Bufford and Ruth (Stenborg) Fullhart in Evanston, Ill. He graduated from Glenbrook High School in Chicago and later, Tarkio College in Missouri with a BA in education. Ron taught in Keokuk, IA before moving to Monona, IA and teaching at MFL. Ron married Linda Keehner on December 28, 1971 at Monona Lutheran Church. Ron and Linda started the Hesper Locker which they owned and operated for twenty-two years. Together they raised nine children. Ron enjoyed his family. He and Linda traveled all over the world watching their children compete in sporting events. He also enjoyed camping and taking care of his grandchildren. Ron and Linda took in many foster children over the years. Their house was always open to those in need.

Ron is survived by his wife Linda. Children: Sandy (Rick) Boleyn, Cedar Rapids, IA; Bill (Theresa) Fullhart, Decorah, IA; Howard (Jodi) Fullhart, Fergus Falls, MN; Lee (Doreen) Fullhart, Imperial, CA; Bob (Katie) Fullhart, Spencer, IA; Renda (Mike) Tollefson, Decorah, IA; Daniel (friend, Shannon Young) Fullhart, Decorah, IA; Brian and Brent Fullhart. Nineteen grandchildren: Trevor and Sam Boleyn; Mathew, Mikel and Mitchel Fullhart; Hattie and Eli Fullhart; Bill, Edisen and Jodi Fullhart; Jace, Noah, Emerie, and Josie Fullhart; Madison, McKenzie and Meison Tollefson; Serenity Easler and Nevaeh Fullhart. Brother: Bud (Ellen) Fullhart, Sequim, WA. Brothers-in-law: Harlan (Janet) Keehner, Dubuque, IA; Ronald (Bette) Keehner, Prairie Du Chien, WI; Robert (Becky) Keehner, Luana, IA; David Keehner, Huntley, MN and Ken (Ann) Keehner, Farmersburg, IA. Sister-in-law: Thelma Keehner, Luana, IA along with many nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents: Bufford and Ruth (Stenborg) Fullhart. Father and mother-in-law: George and Irene Keehner. Brother-in-law: Larry Keehner. Sister-in-law: Lonette Keehner.
