Services held for Nora Good, 88
Funeral services for Nora Good were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 1 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Thomas Miller officiating. Interment was in Bluffton Cemetery at Bluffton. Pallbearers were: Michael Pierce, Howard Pierce, Jeffrey Pierce, Charles Pierce, Dan Smith, and Loran Hoppe. Lindstrom Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Nora, 88, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at the Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco.
Nora Minda Olson was born on November 8, 1913 in Adams, MN, the daughter of John and Ellen (Christianson) Olson. She attended school in Lime Springs.
On May 20, 1931 she married Ernie Good. They lived in the Bluffton area.
She liked flowers and cats.
She is survived by three daughters: Ellen Halstead of Cresco, Norma Smith of Cresco, and Joan Hoppe of Lime Springs; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Nora was preceded in death by her husband in 1981; two grandsons; her parents; seven brothers; and two sisters.
