Services held tor Anna McMaster
Funeral services for Anna McMaster were held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20 at First Lutheran Church in Cresco with Rev. Gary K. Lee and Intern Anna Tews officiating. Interment was in Plesant{sic} Hill Cemetery in Lime Springs. Lindstrom Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Anna, 88, died Saturday, November 17, 2001 at the Cresco Care Center in Cresco.
Anna Pearl McMaster was born July 8, 1913 in Ridgeway, the daughter of James and Maude (Armstrong) Farghum. She attended rural schools in the area.
On June 14, 1929 she married Robert Lee McMaster in Decorah. They farmed in the Lime Springs and Chester areas until they retired to Lime Springs in 1974. In October of 1999 she moved to Cresco.
She enjoyed canning, crocheting, shopping blue light specials and was active in her church.
She is survived by one son: Larry Lee of Plainsboro, NJ; one daughter: Sandra K. Bouril of Littleton, CO; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother: Elmer of Mason City.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1992; two sons: Robert Lee Jr. and Duane E.; her parents; brothers: Clarence, Spencer, and an infant Elmer, who an older surviving brother was named after; and sisters: Florence “Tiny” Whitmire and Eva Kraft.
