Lowell J. Drenth, age 81, of Decorah, IA, died Wednesday November 15, 2017 at Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Decorah with Rev. Laura Arnold officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lowell Cemetery in Clarksville, IA, with Full Military Honors.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21 at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah and on Wednesday beginning at 9:30 a.m., one hour before the service, at the church.

Lowell is survived by his wife Phyllis; his two sons, Donovan (Rachel Cooperman) Drenth and Russell Drenth of Decorah; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter: Sam (Jessie) Drenth and their daughter Josie, Reese Drenth, Reid Drenth, Vivian (Alex Taylor) Drenth and Hunter Drenth; one sister, Charlene Whiteside of Shell Rock, IA; and by many nieces and nephews.
