Vincent Kapler, father of the Kapler brothers of this county died at his home in Postville, on Monday, March 9th, aged 81 years. The funeral was Thursday, the interment taking place at Spillville.

VINCENT KAPLER.
Vincent Kapler a veteran resident of this county was buried at Spillville last Thursday. He came to this county in 1855 or ‘56 and remained until advancing years compelled him to relinquish labor. He then went to Postville to live with his daughter Mrs. Joseph Nick, at whose home he died on the 9th inst. aged 83 years. He leaves four sons and five daughters, of which Mayor Kapler, of Spillville, is the eldest
