Michael J. Lang, age 65 of Decorah, IA, died Friday evening, January 27, 2017 at Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah.

Private Graveside Services will be at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha, NE. No other services will be held.

Michael J. Lang was born June 11, 1951 in Dubuque, Iowa. He was the son of Jerome (Jerry) and Magdalen (Etzell) Lang.

He graduated from DeSales High School in Ossian, IA in 1969.

He had lived at Wellington Place in Decorah.

Michael is survived by his sister, Maureen (Lang) Alexander and niece, Molly, of Omaha, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Magdalen Lang.
