Fort Atkinson- Joseph Hackman, 89, of rural Fort Atkinson died Saturday at the Ossian, Iowa, Senior Hospice.

His wife, the former Theresa Schmitt, died in 1968.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's Catholic Church at St. Lucas, Iowa, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Chekal Funeral Home here, where the Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Monday.

Surviving are five sons, Anslem of Waucoma, Iowa, and Leo, Florian, Joseph Jr., and Jerome, all of Fort Atkinson; a daughter, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Bohach of Fort Atkinson; 46 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl of St. Lucas, and three sisters, Mrs. S. X. (Anna) Schmitt, both of Fort Atkinson, and Mrs. T. (Minnie) Winter of Waucoma
