Ft. Atkinson- Mrs. Alois (Gracie) Tekippe, 75, of Ft. Atkinson, died Tuesday afternoon in Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, Decorah, Ia.

Mrs. Tekippe had been, until dial service, a telephone operator for over 20 years with the local telephone company.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church here, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Chekal Funeral Home here, where the Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Benedict of Rickardsville, Ia., Francis of Dubuque, Ia., and Joseph of Sherrill, Ia.; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Ellen) Soukup of Ridgeway, Ia., and Mrs. Ray (Rose Ann) Nienhaus of Ft. Atkinson; 36 grandchildren; two brothers, Msgr. John Smith of Waterloo, Ia., and Eugene Smith of Whittier, Calif., and two sisters, Angela Smith of Waterloo, and Mrs. Francis (Valeria) Lahey of Rickardsville, Ia.
