Calmar- Funeral services for Henry Brincks, 59, who died suddenly in the Calmar post office Monday, will be held at 9:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius church, with the Rev. A. S. Peikert celebrating the requiem mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Brincks was born in Festina, Ia., March 29, 1885, and on Jan. 1, 1908, was married to Pauline Weber, of St. Lucas, Ia. They established their home on a farm near Ossian, Ia., retiring to Calmar in December, 1943.
He is survived by his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Adam (Rose) Nagel, Gettysburg, S.D., Mrs. Herman (Mary) Bullerman, Calmar, Mrs. Ralph (Olivia) Holthaus, Ossian, Mrs. Louis (Theresa) Bullerman, Festina, and Anna, at home; two sons, Raymond, St. Lucas, and Clarence, on the home farm; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, John and Barney Brincks, both of Ossian, and Joseph Brincks, New Hampton, Ia.; and five sisters, Mrs. Steve Rosanka and Mrs. Henry Busch, both of Elma, Ia., Mrs. Carrie Tillman and Mrs. Barney Lechtenberg, both of Festina, and Mrs. Frank Franzen, Waucoma, Ia.
