Decorah- Mrs. Emma Snyder, 84, died on Jan. 8 at her home at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, it was learned here Tuesday.

She was a former resident of Freeport, Winneshiek County, where she was born Nov. 6, 1859, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William McKee. She married Hiram Snyder in 1890, who died several years ago.

Mrs. Snyder left Winneshiek County with her son, Wayne, 35 years ago, moving first to Spencer, Ia., then to Baudette, Minn., and finally located in Coeur d'Alene, her home since 1930.

Her son, Wayne, and one brother, Arthur McKee, Sycamore, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. Iva Chapman, Spokane, and Mrs. Annie Kirkland, Millwood, Wash., survive.

Burial was in Forest Cemetery, Coeur d'Alene.
