Postville- Louis W. Brandt, 80, of Postville, died Friday night at Veteran's Hospital in Iowa City.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Castalia, Ia., with burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Castalia. Friends may call at the Schutte Funeral Home here.

Surviving are a son, John of Providence, R.I.; four sisters, Mrs. Will Koenig and Mrs. Ed Pruess, both of Castalia, and Mrs. Emil Arndt and Mrs. Alvin Neuhring, both of Mason City, Ia., and a brother, Herbert Schroeder of Castalia.
