Lois Irene Ehler, 63, of Ossian, Iowa died Friday, June 5, 2015 at Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City, Iowa. She was born on March 12, 1952 in West Union, Iowa to Victor and Clara (Franzen) Ehler, she was the youngest of her four siblings. Lois attended school in Postville, Waukon and Decorah.

Lois worked for Comprehensive Systems in New Hampton, Elma and Charles City. She enjoyed doing puzzles, working with beads and listening to music, especially Johnny Cash. Lois loved to wear her sunglasses.

Lois is survived by her brother, Denis (Linda) Ehler of Loretto, Minnesota; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Ehler of Lakeville, Minnesota and Carol Byrns of Waterloo, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Floyd Ehler, Mary Ann Puckett and John Ehler; a nephew, Jeff Ehler and a niece, Tammy Ehler.

Visitation will be held one hour before Mass at the church on Wednesday.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Ossian, Iowa. The Rev. Monsignor Cletus Hawes will be the Celebrant.

Burial will follow at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery, Ossian, Iowa.
