Amy M. Blankenship, age 47, of Ridgeway, Iowa passed away on April 24th, 2015 at her home. Amy was born in Fort Hood, Texas to Richard and Doris Traister on October 29, 1967. With her dad being in the military her family lived in many places while she grew up. She lived in Lawton, Oklahoma for many years and was looking forward to moving back there. For many years she worked for the Kwik Trip/Star Convenience stores in West Salem and Stoddard in Wisconsin and their Cresco, Iowa location. Amy enjoyed camping, fishing, visiting and horses. Amy is survived by her parents; a sister, Gina (Ray) Gibson; two nieces: Jennifer (James) Hill and Morgan (Travis) Armstrong; a nephew, Nathan Gibson. Also survived by her step-mother, Judith Traister and three step-brothers and one step-sister. Further survived by her ex-husband, John Blankenship and his children: Ryan, Sam and Alex as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
