Decorah, Ia. Jan. 31 – SPECIAL – Following an illness of a couple of months, Mrs. Kari Thompson died at the Aase Haugen Nursing Home Sunday morning. She was 83 years old.

Deceased was born in Norway, November 18, 1845, and was a daughter of Lars and Kristi Daelan. Her husband preceded her in death.

The funeral was held Wednesday and internment was made in the cemetery adjoining the Aase Haugen home.
