OBITUARY.
Catherine Ann McGee.
Funeral services for Catherine Ann McGee were held at the Assumption church at nine o’clock on Thursday morning, June 12, 1941. The Rev. J. A. McMahon officiated. Burial was in St. Kiearns{sp} cemetery at Daley’s flats.
Pall bearers were Ralph Ahern, Wm. Aspel, L. J. Walsh, James P. Kelly, Pat Granahan and Charles De Walle (or could be Walte).
Catherine Ann McGee was born Dec. 30, 1874, in Albion township Howard county, Iowa. She was a daughter of William and Margaret McGee. Her father died 48 years ago and her mother died five years ago.
Miss McGee lived on the farm in Albion until 16 years ago when she moved to town with her mother and brother, D. S. McGee. The brother and sister have continued to have their home here since.
She is survived by three brothers and one sister: D. S. McGee and Dan McGee of Cresco; Will McGee of Harmony, Minn.; and Mrs. Elmer Bateman of Cresco.
She was a member of the Assumption church and the Altar & Rosary Society.
Relatives attending the funeral a distance were Mrs. Owen McGee, sons Eldon and Orrin and daughters Irene and Betty of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Nolan, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Emmett McGee and daughters Mercedes and Catherine, Mrs. Clarence Peterson, Mrs. Ben Roberts and Mrs. Ben Ulenweling, all of Austin, Minn.

We express our heartfelt thanks for the kindness and sympathy extended us during the illness and death of our beloved sister, Catherine Ann McGee. We thank all who sent spiritual and floral bouquets, food or did any king act which assisted us at this sad time.
