Decorah- Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Sorenson, 91, who died Monday, were to be conducted Wednesday at the Gourley Funeral home at 2 p.m. and in the Decorah Lutheran church at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. M. A. Egge and the Rev. G. A. Sundby were to officiate and burial was to be in the Lutheran cemetery.

Caroline Bolson was born Jan. 10, 1859, in Glenwood township, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Bolson, who were among the early pioneers. On June 14, 1881, in Chicago, she married Hans Sorenson, who died in 1904.

Surviving are the following children - Emma, Alfred and Helen Sorenson and Mrs. Arthur Brynsaas, at home; Mrs. John Malli, Canton, Minn.; Mrs. Ben Carlsborg, Chicago; Mrs. Minnie Aasum, Trout Creek, Mont.; and Henry Sorenson, Pullman, Wash. Ed C. Bolson of Decorah is the only surviving brother.
