Garry Wiltgen, age 68, of Calmar, IA, died on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, IA, from congestive heart failure, dementia and pneumonia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2015, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 304 South Maryville Street, Calmar, IA, with Rev. Donald Hawes presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 1, 2015, and also from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m., on Monday morning at the Schluter- Balik Funeral Home, French Chapel, 202 South Washington Street, Calmar, IA.

Wiltgen Construction will be closed on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be given to the Garry Wiltgen Memorial Fund, 204 East Main Street, Calmar, IA 52132.

Garry is survived by his wife: Dianne, Calmar, IA. Three sons: Chad (Kristina) Wiltgen, and sons: Mason & Carter, Decorah, IA; Chris (Nicole) Wiltgen, and Chloe & Augi, Calmar, IA; and Casey (Katie) Wiltgen, and daughter, Maci Pearl, Calmar, IA. Sister: Janet (Jerome) Uhlenhake, Calmar, IA. Brother: Gene Wiltgen and friend, Angie Gaul, Onalaska, WI. Two sisters-in-law: Linda Schmitt, Calmar, IA, and Jane (Steve) Ellingson, Lawler, IA. Nieces and nephews: Jason Uhlenhake and Josh (Samantha) Uhlenhake, Cory Ellingson, Sara (Ron) Riehle, Lisa Schmitt, Brittany Wiltgen and Travis Wiltgen.

Garry was preceded in death by his mother: Viola on August 1, 2001; his father: Dick on July 15, 2005. One Brother: Gerald “Augie” Wiltgen. One nephew: Justin Uhlenhake on May 24, 1988. His father-in-law and mother-in-law: Leonard and Gladys Hubka. One brother-in-law: Gary Schmitt.
