Calmar- Funeral services for Mrs. Nils A. Foss, 86, were conducted Thursday at Trinity Lutheran church, and burial was in the Lutheran cemetery. The Rev. H. A. Preus officiated.

Mrs. Foss died Tuesday at her home here.

She was born Sept. 20, 1863, in Calmar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellen O. Borlaug. On Nov. 19, 1883, at the Washington Prairie Lutheran church, she married Nils A. Foss, who died in 1941.

Surviving children are Mrs. Earl McLane, Mrs. Henry Twedt and Martin Foss, Calmar; Peter Foss, West Union; Mrs. Dean Morgan, Encino, Calif.; Christian Foss, Burr Oak. John Borlaug, a brother at Estherville, also survives.
