Decorah- Vernon R. Vick, 75, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 3, 1996, in Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday, Good Shepard Lutheran Church. Burial: Lutheran Cemetery, Decorah. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Flelstul Funeral Home and after 12:30 p.m. Friday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; six sons, Rod Vick of Cedar Rapids, Donald Vick of Ridgeway and Greg Vick, Harlan Vick, Michael Vick and Larry Vick, all of Decorah; seven daughters, Joann Hovey and Ruth Ann Fadness, both of Fort Collins, Colo., Janet Harkness of Decorah, Bobbi Matthews of Harrisburg, Ore., Cathy Scheidel of Decorah, Sally Tieskotter of Ossian and Wanda Schroeder of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; three brothers, Frank of Decorah, Harlan of Scottsdale, Ark., and Herbert of Mason City; and a sister, Dorothy Halse of Waterloo.
