Decorah- Funeral services were held Monday for Martin Bergan, who died at his home last Thursday.

La Crosse Tribune, La Crosse, Wis., 8 Mar. 1950.

Decorah- Martin Bergan, 81, is a patient in Decorah hospital convalescing from a fall on the sidewalk at his home in Calmar. He fractured his left hip.

His life has been spent in Winneshiek County and was engaged in farming until two years ago. He served as a member of the Winneshiek county board of supervisors for several years.
