Fort Atkinson- Alvis Vsetecka, 71, of Cresco, formerly of rural Fort Atkinson, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, in his home after a lingering illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Holy Trinity church, Protivin, by the Rev. John Moser. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Balik Funeral Home, Spillville, with a rosary at 5 p.m. and Scripture service at 7 p.m., and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Survivors include three sisters, Wilma and Delores Vsetecka, both of Cresco, and Norma Stone of Sparks, Nev.
