Decorah- Funeral services for Eingeborg Tinjum, 89, will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Steine Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church. Burial in the North Washington Prairie Cemetery. She died Saturday at a Decorah hospital following a long illness.

Mrs. Tinjum, a gold star mother, was born in Norway. Her husband, Ole Tinjum, preceded her in death.

Three daughters survive, Mrs. David Mitchell and Mrs. George Rovang of Decorah and Mrs. Bertha Haugen, Bellingham, Wash.

Her son, Nils Tinjum, drowned in March when he fell into the flood waters of Dry Run and his body floated into the Upper Iowa river.
